Bachelor of Business Administration
Undergraduate programs leading to Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA) are offered in Business Administration. Students are required to
complete lower division courses prior to taking upper division courses.
- 100-299 Lower division courses (freshman and sophomore level)
- 300-499 Upper division courses (junior and senior level)
General Education Requirements
General Education curriculum can enrich the student's sense of the context
and meaning of his or her career activities. One of the goals of General
Education; therefore, is to understand the major fields of knowledge and
the interrelationships between them.
Transfer credit in such disciplines may be applied for fulfilling the
requirements in General Education. However, a General Education core course
cannot be used to fulfill any other degree requirements.
Basic Proficiencies Requirements And General Education
- Professional-level competence in oral and written communication.
- Well-developed quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to use library and electronic resources for research.
- Knowledge of the variety and universality of human experience as
expressed in diverse cultures and their history, philosophy, literature,
creative arts and science.
- Understanding the US and global contexts of business and public management,
including contemporary economic, social, political, ethical and environmental
developments and issues.
- Knowledge of science as a method of inquiry and discovery, the processes
of the natural world, and the interaction of human societies with the
natural environment.
- The intellectual foundations and tools for developing a well-informed
and well-reflected worldview.
- The knowledge, perspectives, and analytical abilities needed to creatively
respond to problems, opportunities, and to social and technological
change.

BBA Graduation Requirements
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
A total of 126 units with an overall Grade Point Average of 2.0 or better
are required for the Bachelor of Business Administration.
A minimum of 25 percent of the total credit units must have been completed
at Washington International University. The following chart applies to
all four concentrations.
